public and private firms, financial and insurance companies.
has been operative since August 1998, its head office based
within the establishment of the Venice Port Authority.
The mission of the Company is:

the development of messaging and document interchange between
the operators within the Port areas and among the logistic
centers of the Adriatic;

processing and telematic services to the port operators and
to the transport and logistics sectors;
is on the market with a new generation of software products
aimed at the transport and logistics sector: the adoption of
such information technology innovations, made possible by the
technological developments, provides the users with an effective
support to the achievement of even more elevated standards of
efficiency.
The communication
software developed by
is LogIS (Logistic Information System), an application
on the Lotus Notes/Domino Platform. LogIS integrates
with the Lotus-Domino groupware products by means of D.Dense,
an innovative technology developed exclusively by Teleporto
Adriatico, which adds functionalities to the Lotus-Domino platform.
At present,
the Capital of amounts to 815.000,00 Euro entirely paid; the
shareholding body is currently made up of 6 shareholders, amongst which
the shareholder of majority is the Venice Port Authority. In
the year 2003 approximately 20 people are employed and in the
last accounting period the flow relative to development
activities topped 2 million Euro.

's main activity - which is what it was primarily estabilished to achieve is the creation of the new telematic system for the ports of Venice and Chioggia.
For this purpose, within the scope of the funds set aside for the "Obiettivo 2" areas of the European Community, the Company has received a special from the Veneto Regional Council, spanning the period 1998-2001.
The market of reference of , that offers softwares and services for the management of the carriers and the goods, is harbour and logistics operators:
- shipping agencies, that manage the interests of the ships of respective shipowners;
- freight forwarders, that manage the cargo movements of import/export operators;
- terminal operators, that manage loading and unloading operations of goods and their storage;
- custom agents, that manage all the custom duties of the goods;
- ship movement services on which it depends, physically, arrive of the ship in port (pilotage, mooring, etc.);
- services of bunkerage and other supplies to the ship in port;
- truckers, that load/unload goods in port;
- railway services that offer services for the intermodal exchange.
